Nadja is from Germany and her journey started in 2003 when she spent 7 ("not-totally-voluntarily") months in South Africa and Botswana with Operation Mobilization. It was an eye opening time to what missions can look like in this day and age. Then in 2006 she joined YWAM to do her DTS in Norway with outreach in, guess where, South Africa! And LOVED IT!
She then staffed in Norway and went to Australia in 2008 to do a Primary Health Care School with an amazing outreach to Papua New Guinea. This is where her heart was set on mercy ministries.
In 2009, she became a staff member for the Primary Health Care School in Kona, Hawaii and travelled for relief-work to Haiti and also medical outreach to Thailand.
In the summer of 2010 she joined the team in Targu Mures. On base she is working with the operations department and and in the afternoons she is doing local outreach ministries - her main focus is leading the "Hands of Life" ministry in the village of Corbesti just outside of Targu Mures, where she and her team are offering practical help to the poor community.
