Florin is from Bazna, a village near Medias. He did his DTS in 1999 in Cluj and right after joined YWAM working with the base in Medias for the past 10 years. In Medias he was on staff for different schools and for 5 years he took care of the building project for the new base there. Him and Florina were part of the leadership team for a few years. If you like to play football you are his best friend! Additionally, he likes to play guitar, write songs, take walks, paint and sculpt. His passion is to see many young artists using their skills to bring God's principles into society. He is leading the Staff Care and Development department in the base and he is co-leading the worship department with Carmen. Florin is very passionate about worship so he is also leading the School of Worship.
Florina is from Cluj Napoca, loves languages, ideas, volleyball and the nations, especially India. She did her DTS in 1996 in Lausanne, Switzerland and went in her outreach to... India of course :-). In 2002 her life became even more beautiful when she married Florin with whom she was already working at the YWAM base in Medias, Romania since 1999. Her vision is to see the kingdom of God growing and spreading in all areas of society and she loves to inspire other people to get to know God and his thinking revealed in the Bible! She is the leader of the Legal department and supervising the office. Now she is taking care of little Nadia and she enjoys very much being a mother. Together with Florin she is part of the leadership team of the base.
