About Us

The YWAM Targu Mures base is located in central Romania in the heart of Transylvania. Our vision is to empower local churches, cultivate community development projects and educate and release young people to fulfill their visions.

We are just one of over 1300 "Youth With a Mission" (YWAM) locations worldwide. YWAM's international staff consists of nearly 20,000 full-time staff (and 400,000 short term missionaries) serving in over 180 countries impacting their communities, training young people and serving needs globally

Serving

We have several openings for motivated people to join with us, using their own unique talents and gifts, as we seek to minister to the 150,000 people in this city who are looking for direction and guidance. Join us as we seek to sow seeds of righteousness in the community, churches and young people of Targu Mures. Training

We have several training opportunities throughout the year, including

• DTS - Our Discipleship Training School (DTS) is a five month program where the goal is drawing closer to God. Successful completion of a DTS is a prerequisite for serving through YWAM.
• SOW - Our School of Worship (SOW) is a program in which we seek to train believers to lead worship in their churches and groups.
• MSOS - Our Musicians Summer of Service (MSOS) program consists of 2 weeks of intensive band training and practice and 3 weeks of touring Central and Eastern Europe.
• C2W - Continuing our focus on worship, we seek to host or coordinate a Call To Worship (C2W) seminar each year.
