Jerry, Carmen and Melanie - After graduating from Syracuse University in New York, Jerry worked for five years as an architect in New Jersey before devoting himself to missions. He toured with a Christian band in the US for a year and a half, then did a Musician's Summer of Service (MSOS) through YWAM Montana in June 1997 serving in Thailand. After this two month school God called Jerry to serve full time with YWAM. He did his Discipleship Training School (DTS) in January 1998 in Montana and went to Europe for outreach and stayed there. He joined the Budapest base staff for two years serving mostly through music. Then in 2001 he moved to Romania where he's been serving ever since. Jerry also did School of Biblical Foundations with YWAM Denver in 2005.
Carmen graduated the Medical University in Targu Mures Romania. She starting working with YWAM as a volunteer in 1999, and did her DTS in 2001 on the Caribbean Mercy Ship. She went to South America for outreach then returned to Romania and pioneered an English Class ministry. She and Jerry also helped plant a church in Targu Mures Romania, where Carmen was the worship leader for two years. Carmen did a School of Worship (SOW) in Denver Colorado in 2005 and she graduated the School of Art in Targu Mures in 2007 where she studied singing and Music Theory. Carmen has on her heart to pioneer the SOW in Romania.
Melanie was born in 2005 and loves animals (all textures, sizes, color ). Her best friends are the base STAFF and her favorite song is "Happy birthday" in a very high key.
Julia was born in the fall of 2007 and her favorite entertainment is watching Melanie play. She squeals with joy every time her sister looks her way.
They both bring a lot of joy to their parents.
