
DTS Application - English / Romana
The next DTS will start in the April 2009 in Targu Mures the middle of Transylvania.
The course includes student participation in:
Lectures. A total of approximately 12 hours per week covering teaching in these areas
• Father Heart of God
• Nature of God
• Jesus
• Holy Spirit
• Worship
• Inductive Bible Study
• Spiritual warfare
• Missions
• Hearing God’s Voice
• Prayer and Intercession
• Relationships
Message: Each student will be required to give a short message 3-5 minutes on the character of God. During outreach the students may need to share there testimony or preach publicly.
Outreach Prep. During the lecture phase we will have outreach preparation a few afternoons per week. The afternoon preparation time will include music/band rehearsal, drama practice, cultural information, evangelism, ect..
Small Group: Once a week the students will meet in small groups to discuss the topic of the week, pray for each other and have a chance to share their opinions on the topic.
Intercession Groups: Each week we will have a time set aside to intercede for the nations.
Reading Assignments: During the course of the school the students will be required to read 3 books and do book reports. The books are available through the Base library.
Journaling: Weekly journaling is a great tool for helping the student to process what he/she has learned and to see how God is working in their life.
Work Duty: Each student is assigned to a work duty. This is part of the discipleship process and gives the student the opportunity to serve others and the base. This can include working in the kitchen, maintenance on the base, office work, babysitting, food shopping, graphic art work, bookkeeping, ect..
Worship/prayer night: Once a month the base has a worship/prayer night focusing on ministering to the missionaries and ministries in the city.
Weekly Outreach: Each week we will have outreach in the city and surrounding villages. I can be evangelistic or mercy ministry oriented. We will also work or serve in the coffeehouse ministry, crown ‘orphan care’ ministry, Integro youth work and local churches.
Outreach: The second phase of the DTS is the outreach. The outreach is where the student has the opportunity to put into practice the things they have learned during the lecture phase. Outreach is for 8 weeks in another country led by the DTS staff or possibly student led.
All these parts are required for the student to participate for completion of the DTS program
Costs
Lecture Phase
The DTS lecture phase is approximate 1600 Euros this includes housing, food and tuition. For books and laundry or other needs the student will need to provide with their own funds. Tuition is due upon arrival for the school. The students must provide their visas for lecture phase.
Outreach Phase
The DTS Outreach phase is approximate 1200 Euros this includes transportation, visas, housing and food. Personal needs as snacks, laundry, and/or spending money is to be provided by the student. At the end of the sixth week of lectures ½ is due and the remaining at the end of the eleventh week
Application Fee
The application fee is 20 Euros which is non-refundable

Disclaimer
• Students must be 18 years old or older, or have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• DTS is a prerequisite to further YWAM training.
• If you are married both the husband and wife should complete the program together.
• Students completing DTS can receive up to 20 credits from YWAM's University of the Nations. ($50 fee).
• Those who complete DTS are eligible to apply to join YWAM Targu Mures full-time staff.
